Interview with Cesar and Tom
JM: How many meals did you get per day?
Cesar: 3 per day
Tom: THREE
JM: How would you rate the food? Please give details of why.
Cesar: Very bad, But you're in jail. What do we expect.
Tom: WELL SINCE I WAS HOMELESS AND ONLY EATING AT
SHELTORS IT WAS A STEP UP FROM THAT, FOOD WAS
ALWAYS GOOD.
JM: Did you have any favorite/least favorite meals?
Cesar: The meals where the same for breakfast everyday
and lunch was just a sandwich. Dinner was the
only thing that changed. Very small portions.
Tom: I WAS ALWAYS THANKFUL FOR THE FOOD THAT WE
RECEIVED IN THE SPOKANE COUNTY JAIL.
JM: Were there any other snacks offered outside of meals? What was commissary like and how expensive was it?
Cesar: No.
Tom: COMMISARY

i thought the food was great,when they would send the preachers around we would act like we were sleeping

I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE A COMMENT ABOUT THE FOOD, IT ALWAYS ARRIVES ON TIME, AND WITH THE VARIETY OF MEALS WE NEVER ATE THE SAME THING TWICE, I KNOW THAT IF I WOKE UP DURING THE DAY, AND WAS HUNGRY I WOULD PICK UP THE BIBLE AND I WOULD READ FROM THAT, IN THE SPOKANE COUNTY JAIL, I WAS FED BOTH PHISICALLY (SP) AND SPIRITUALLY, THE PASTORS THAT VOULUNTEER THERE TIME CAN BE VERY HELPFUL.
